Hi, i'm Issam Ounejjar

About me
Hi, I’m a software engineer located in Casablanca Morocco with a passion for building clean and functional software. I enjoy solving real-world problems with code. My work spans from front-end interfaces to back-end logic and DevOps pipelines. I value simplicity, performance, and maintainability. I believe good software is not just about code, but about the people who use it.
Over the years, I’ve worked with a variety of languages and frameworks. I’m always eager to learn and explore new technologies. I take pride in writing code that is both readable and efficient. I care deeply about user experience and clean design. My favorite tools are Linux, Git, and a terminal with a good cup of coffee. Automation and scripting make me smile. I like thinking about systems, architecture, and scalability. Whether it's a web app, an API, or a CLI tool — I’m in. I’ve built personal projects, worked in teams, and deployed to the cloud.
I believe collaboration is key to great software. Outside of coding, I enjoy reading, music, and exploring new ideas. I’m always looking for new challenges and meaningful work. If you're curious about my projects or want to connect, reach out!
Thanks for visiting my portfolio.

Currently Learning
I'm currently deepening my knowledge in DevOps practices and tools. That includes working with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and GitHub Actions.
At the same time, I’m diving into Linux kernel development to better understand low-level systems and how they power everything beneath. Always learning, always building.

Education
I studied Computer Science and Software Engineering at 1337 Coding School in Morocco, an innovative, tuition-free institution that is part of the internationally renowned 42 Network.
1337 follows a peer-to-peer, project-based learning model, without traditional teachers or lectures. Instead, students learn by working on real-world coding challenges, collaborating with peers, and solving problems in a highly practical environment.
During my studies, I built a strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, system programming (C and Unix), software engineering principles, web development, and collaborative project management. The experience fostered adaptability, creativity, and a deep problem-solving mindset — skills that extend far beyond coding.
